Ristorante Pizzeria Roseto in Heidelberg

The pizza is edible, but in the end it doesn't really taste better than at the station kiosk. One of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to - unfortunately!

Had lunch here with my daughter after a hospital visit. The service was ok, the food took a little longer than at the next table that was ordered after us, the food did not arrive at the same time and was tasty but unfortunately rather lukewarm. After I wasn't even asked if it tasted good and we'd like a dessert or something like that, I was presented with the bill without being asked. This has never happened to me before. I felt downright thrown out. Conclusion: You can go, but you don't have to and personally I prefer to eat somewhere else in the future.

Rustic, cozy sports restaurant. Friendly Italian staff. Free seat available. No top gastronomy and no Italian specialties restaurant. But honest, clean and you get full.

Had something to eat for my daughter at the hospital! The food in the hospital used to be at least as bad, if not better! Frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer! Fries well! The spagetti cabonara was inedible, had nothing to do with cabonara and the ham and cream sauce was simple too ... sorry ... disgusting! I can only warn that I haven't had such a bad meal on my plate for a long time. My 3 kids didn't eat it!

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the other reviews. The food was extremely bland, overpriced and technically not convincing. The service was slow and unfriendly. Drinks were wrongly delivered and we had to wait almost half an hour for the bill! It can get very noisy here due to the backdrop. The equipment takes some getting used to and, in my case, high quality.

We arrived shortly before the end, at noon today, and yet the service was nice and we hungry got a delicious meal. My address when I drive through Heidelberg and want to eat delicious, good and reasonably priced food. Outside terrace could add a bit of flair, but well covered and fresh air. Nice ambience inside. The toilet is clean. Very recommendable in my opinion.

Since we are stationed in the children's hospital for a long time, we have eaten here several times and it was always very tasty! Friendly and also fond of children (I don't understand the negative reviews ?!) Our relatives who visited us so far also found it delicious. Keep it up!

Very good Italian restaurant with a very nice and large terrace. Excellent food and good drinks. A well-coordinated team around the very nice owner. The 2 entries from 28.5. don't match what happened at all. At that time I was a guest at the next table in the Roseto. The service was very courteous to the guests and the owner immediately offered to take over the bill for washing the clothes stained by the coffee. It is also interesting that the plates of the complaining guests were completely eaten. So the food can only have been good.

The worst restaurant ever in Heidelberg! A hot coffee was poured onto my pants and no apology came. The waitress said it was my fault, seriously? Without words! The food was mediocre! Not recommended, as an Italian I am very disappointed!

The last time I was here was on May 28th for lunch. Lunch was too expensive and low flavor, I expected more at the price. But fits The waitress was rude. At first I asked if I could order a pizza, the question was no only the pizza from the lunch menu. 10 minutes later the 2 customers were there and they can order pizza that was not on offer. 1st time I was here pizza with a great taste, but taking 19% VAT is not possible 2nd time I was again because the taste was good, 2 pizzas cost 18 €, I gave 50 €, got 30 € back and the owner says it is true. 3rd time was 28.05 I have never had such a bad experience of gastronomy. I will never come back. P.S. I tried 3 times because the taste of pizza was good, other problem can be solved directly with the MA. But never lived like 28.05

Very unfriendly staff children not wanted at all no twins. Kindly asked if you could eat outside well the first day was warm. We were looked at and asked about this demand. That it is not possible. When we asked if we could get a seat inside. We weren't even gently rejected, we were just stupidly looked at. At the end of the song we had to go somewhere else. So not a bit recommendable. The staff was very rude and insolent

The food was very delicious, the drinks also. Quadroni, Lasagna, the Tagliatelle di Gorgonzola and the pizzas, awesome! The staff is good. Domenico and Luiza are very kind! Everytime in heidelberg I go there.

The food was really good but the service is in need of improvement. The starter salad came after the main course. Spoon and Parmesan for the spaghetti were z. B. not proactively delivered and had to be fetched even at the counter, as we sat in a side room. Otherwise, the staff was very nice. The food is absolutely recommended. Really everything we had tasted delicious.

Came here because me and my girlfriend went to the zoo, it is in very close proximity so it is therfore very practical. Not too certain why some people say the food was bland, i find that everything had the right amount of flavor, served at good temperature, and with fantastic presentation. The price for the practical location and quality of food and that they have a fantastic selection of ingredients (the meats, veggies and cheeses having strong flavor), and multi lingual staff, I find the price to be more than fair. I most certainly will be returning to this place in the near future.

The place is located in a quiet area, close to the zoo. The food is absolutely amazing. The pizza is very different from the others in town (and believe me - I’ve tried all pizzas around HD). The salad was truly fresh and with a great sauce. And the pasta was too good to be true. Simply delicious! They also offer some interesting fish dishes, but we haven’t tried them yet. The service is also great. Such a friendly staff! I’m definitely coming back over and over again.

They sat us during a busy evening without reservations. The serve time was ok. The food was very generous however it was bland. After I added salt, it was much better. Beware, they only accept German bank cards or cash. Highly recommend the pizza.

The best Italian restaurant in Heidelberg. I totally recommend it. Friendly staff and authentic Italian food! They are totally children and pets friendly. The perfect environment for a family dinner. I loved it. I would go back in my next trip to Heidelberg.

Its cheap and the food is good. Service is not up to standard though, you order a beer and it arrives 1hr later... yet the staff mess around with their furniture in the meantime. They do not accept VISA either.
